LANSING, Mich (WLMI) A ‘guilty’ verdict in a Lansing double-murder trial. 34-year old Paul Strang was convicted Thursday of two-counts of 1st degree murder in connection with the August 2009 killings of a Lansing couple. William Beckett and Monica Moreno wre found shot to death inside their burning West Barnes Avenue home. Prosecutors say drugs and money were the motive—Strang will be sentenced to life in prison next month.
