WAUKESHA, WI (WTAQ) - A 32-year-old Indiana man is awaiting charges for an armed standoff with police at hotel in Waukesha.
It happened late Saturday night at the Extended Stay hotel.
Police said a woman argued with her husband at dinner – and she and her kids were outside while the man went to their room to get a gun.
Police moved the woman and children to a safe place, and they evacuated nearby rooms. They then convinced the man to surrender after he held officers at bay for about a half-hour.
No one was hurt.
The woman said the man was a gang member.
He faces possible charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
