WESTON, Wis (WSAU) A company that builds compact excavators in Weston is planning to expand. Extend Manufacturing wants to add more than 350 jobs over the next seven years.

They've qualified for a series of state tax credits and have a $750,000 loan pending from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The Marathon County board will vote on Tuesday whether they will act as administrators for the loan.

New hiring would start in 2012, and would be based on company sales.

Extend's excavators are compact models that can be towed behind a pick-up truck and moved easily from one job-site to another.
