WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) – A judge will decide today whether there’s been too much pre-trial publicity for a former Wausau teacher’s aide to get a fair trial on charges he touched an 11-year-old girl’s breasts on a school playground last spring.
Bee Lor’s defense is asking Judge Patrick Brady to grant a change of venue – meaning the trial will be moved out of Marathon County or an out-of-county jury will hear the case.
Brady will hear arguments and rule on the motion at 1:30 p.m.
The 27-year-old Lor will stand trial on June 6th. He remains jailed on a $50,000 cash bond.
Lor will be arraigned next week on separate charges that he touched a 6-year-old girl’s butt in a classroom.
