WESTON, Wis (WSAU) There was a one-car rollover accident on Weston Avenue near Camp Phillips Road in Weston early Sunday morning. A Marathon County sheriffs deputy discovered the wreck around 3am. The vehicle had been abandoned after being driven into the ditch.
Police traced the vehicle's registration and located the driver, 24-year-old Justin McClinton, later in the day. He was not seriously injured. He may be charged with failing to report an accident.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash, and whether alcohol was a factor.
