WASHINGTON (WHTC News) - The Army Corps of Engineers yesterday posted details of a proposed bridge over the Grand River that would connect Robinson and Crockery townships near 120th Avenue. The 70 million-dollar, 37 hundred-foot span is part of a planned M-231 route that would ease pressure on river crossings of US-31 to the west and 68th Avenue to the east. A 30-day public comment period has begun; work on the project could begin this fall. M-DOT officials say that the Army Corps must sign off on the effort before building can begin.
