Wausau, Wi (WSAU) Three Wisconsin Woodchucks and one Wisconsin Rapids Rafter have been named to the South squad fof the Northwoods League all-star game that will be played at Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids on Monday July 18th.
Catcher Carlos Escobar and pitchers Tom Briner & Ryan Iverson of the Woodchucks were named to the squad. Pitcher Skylar Debilzen will appear before his home fans for the Rafters.
Escobar has been one of the top hitters in the Northwoods League this season. Briner has been the ace of the Woodchucks staff and Iverson has given the Chucks stellar work out of the bullpen.
