SHAWANO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - A deadly Tuesday on Shawano County highways as deputies respond to a pair of fatality accidents.
The first one happened just after 12:30 a.m. A vehicle in the ditch off County Highway Z near Sugar Bush Road in the Town of Aniwa.
The single occupant, 45-year-old Ronald Zahn, was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol and no safety belts appear to be factors.
The other, at State Highway 29 and Kildeer Road in Wittenberg, involved a motorcyclist. 30-year-old Noel Joyce was not wearing a seatbelt. Speed is believed to be a factor.
