Michigan State appears to be on the bubble for nailing down a bid to the NCCA tournament and that probably makes tonight’s contest at home against Illinois a must win situation if the Spartans hope to make it to the Big Dance.

The Breslin Center will be noisy all day leading up to the 9 p.m. tipoff because the ESPN Game Day crew will be on hand to dissect M-S-U’s struggles this season that has the Spartans at 6-and-7 in the Big Ten and 14-and-11 overall.

On this afternoon’s schedule, Michigan is at Iowa while Western Michigan has an ESPN Bracket Buster game at home against Illinois State.
