MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) – The state corrections department is looking for a Lincoln County jail inmate who walked away last week.
Alexander Schultz was jailed two weeks ago for violating probation. His probation agent let him out Wednesday to attend a sex offender treatment class. He never returned to the jail. Police have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Schultz has limited resources and police think he is hiding out in the Merrill area.
