Wausau, Wi (WSAU) A 71 year old Birnamwood man who was in a one car crash last Sunday that was not reported to police has died of his injuries. Elton Bauch went off of Highway N in the Town of Norrie last Sunday night around 7pm and crashed into a signpost. Family members got him home but Bauch went to Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Monday had had surgery on a fractured hip. He died on Thrusday. The Marathon County Medical Examiner said he had no other serious injuries or underlying health problems. It was the 10th fatality on Marathon County roads this year
