TOMAHAWK, Wis (WSAU) Workers at Harley Davidson's factory in Tomahawk got their first look at a proposed seven-year contract yesterday. Harley has threatened to shut down their Tomahawk facility and move production elsewhere if it isn't approved.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports 75 of the current 275 jobs at the parts and accessories facility would be cut. 50 workers there have already been laid off.
The contract proposal includes a wage freeze, and allows the company to hire temporary workers during times of peak demand.
The contract will be voted on Monday.
