UNDATED (WSAU) A foreclosure auction has been delayed for the Wisconsin Dells amusement park where a 12-year-old girl was seriously injured in July. The Bank of Wisconsin Dells has asked that Extreme World not go up for sale until October 19th.
Sauk County sheriff’s officials say auction delays are common – and this is the second time the Extreme World sale has been moved up. The bank filed a foreclosure action last December. It’s seeking over two-point-seven million dollars from the park’s owner, Anderson Amusements. Teagan Marti of Florida was seriously injured at the park on July 30th, when she fell 100-feet to the ground on the Terminal Velocity free-fall ride. The ride’s operator at the time has been criminally charged with reckless injury.
