MOSINEE, Wis (WSAU) Central Wisconsin Airport may be adding a fourth airline. C-W-A management is waiting for word on a grant that could allow a new airline to come in.

Airport manager Tony Yaron tells WSAW News channel Seven that if the grant is approved negotiations could be completed quickly with a new carrier that would offer direct flight from C-W-A to Milwaukee. Yaron also said the grant would also allow existing airlines to upgrade their service.

Airport officials would not disclose the new airline they'd be negotiating with. It is likely Frontier Airlines, which operates most of the direct flights to Milwaukee from other in-state locations. C-W-A is served by Delta, American, and United, and is in the process of renovating its main terminal.
