CENTREVILLE--It was announced just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23rd, 2010 that the jury had reached a verdict in the Calista Springer murder trial.

     After nine days of deliberations, both Anthony and Marsha Springer were found guilty on counts of torture and child abuse, but not guilty on a count of felony murder.  

     16-year-old Calista Springer died two years ago this Friday in a St. Joseph county house fire while chained to her bed.
