Rothschild, Wis. (WSAU) – WE Energies will be on hand tomorrow in Rothschild to hold an open house on a proposed biomass power plant at the Domtar paper mill.

Spokesman Brain Manthey says this is time that the company will be on site to meet with residents and plan out how the plant will work. The company has heard concerns from some residents in a nearby residential area about possible increased noise both from the plant and from trucks pulling in and out each day to drop off fuel.

Manthey says they'll also be using the time with residents to help plan out their official proposal to the Public Service Commission to build the plant. That will come later this year.

Tomorrow's meeting starts at noon at the Holiday Inn at Cedar Creek.
